Founded in 2014 and proudly headquartered in North Carolina’s fast-growing Triangle region, CLOUDS Brewing has been serving up bold brews and elevated pub fare for more than a decade. What began as a passion project rooted in German-inspired, American-made beers has evolved into a multi-location hospitality brand with a growing footprint across the state.
Our 15-barrel brewhouse in North Raleigh produces over 1,000 barrels annually, serving guests directly through our on-site taproom and our full-service restaurants, while also distributing to bars, restaurants, and retailers throughout the state. Thanks to our partnership with Empire Distributors, CLOUDS beer is now available across all of North Carolina.

☀️ The Brewery Taproom – North Raleigh
Home base for the brewhouse, this intimate taproom is open to the public Thursday through Sunday. Guests can enjoy fresh pints from the source, rotating specials, and small-batch experimental releases that you won’t find anywhere else.
🍔 Clouds Brewing – DURHAM BREWCADE+KITCHEN
Brightleaf Square, Durham
Located in the historic Brightleaf Square, our Durham location is a full-service restaurant with a laid-back vibe and our signature “Brewcade” concept: arcade games, TVs, beer taps, and crave-worthy comfort food. From our award-winning craft beer to our fan favorite Food, it’s the perfect place to gather, eat, drink, and play.
🌩️ Storm Cellar – Franklin Street, Chapel Hill
Opened in 2024, this underground bar in downtown Chapel Hill is our hidden gem. Featuring craft cocktails, The Award Winning CLOUDS Brewery beer on tap, pool tables, darts, and a stacked collection of board games, it’s a welcoming space for everyone 21+ (and 18+ on select event nights). Enjoy live entertainment every weekend and a rotating selection of special releases in a space built for the UNC crowd and the local Chapel Hill community alike.
